i'm still mentally stuck in tanzania... a drawing inspired by the women i saw during my stay in bagamoyo. mwali means 'young woman.'

This is gorgeous- the lighting is so subtle and beautiful, with just those little splashes of light on her face, shoulder and on her clothing.
I really like the colours in this- how deep and rich the blue is, especially next to her skin colour.
Wonderful textures, too.
