I really like your style, both in line art and in coloring. This one stood out to me also because it felt a little bit like a Mucha illustration. Not in a way that was obvious (like you where trying to draw in his style), but to me it carried some of Mucha with it any way.
love it! it's beautiful but i think the colouring of the face and the hair are really different and makes the transition too obvious. It's a gorgeous bit of artwork!
love ur gallery too all pretty stuff.
okay I was experimenting with colours and crap like that and so I made a coloured version! I'll post it up in a minute. . . no where near as good as yours. I SHALL TRAIN! MUUAHAHAHAHAZ...*coughs*... ahem. now then. AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA.
It is a weird but mesmerizing drawing. I am hipnotizedby the style and colors, but it seems to me that she has a masculine face. I really tough it was a guy when the picture was loading. I don't know really. It kind of reminds me the boys of square-enix games like Chrono-Cross and Kingdom Hearts. Have in mind I am talking of *only* the face here... not the hair or anything else. Besides, the hair quite not fit to the picture... I dunno. It feels like it does not belong to him... I mean, her. At any rate I love fish-creatures and this is one of the best I've seen so far. Keep up the awesome work ^__^
You know, I really love your work: the colors in this are working for me and the expression on her face caught a certain delicacy.... but the feet are bugging the crap outa me. It looks like they were fudged over just a leetle bit. As an artist, it's important to make a statement in the feet. Even if they're stylized, make them strong so that it doesn't look like you're hiding an inability to draw feet. You are an exceptionally talented artist. Keep up the excellent work.
Now I understand! So I have to turn my previous compliments to you: it's the first time that i see the transformation of a girl in a fish and she's not a mermaid! You're really clever! ^^
Oh, you're welcome!
