a sketch i started, which i intend to turn into a digital painting but probably won't get time to do so for a while. so here's a sort of b+w version!

site note: one thing that's so amazing about the cintiq i've been using since may is that it makes lineart SO MUCH MORE FUN to do. i used to hate doing lineart digitally. now i'm really loving it!

haha you express such exuberance in the description of such a gloomy (but beautiful) picture! i agree completely. after throwing down the cash for a Cintiq22HD my poor old Intuos 2 hasn't gotten any love lately. don't have the heart to give it away though!

haha yeah, i got an intuos4 a few months before the cintiq which in retrospect was maybe not such a good idea! i can't bring myself to sell it though :b

Oooh, looks like it's going to be great! Cintiqs are awesome for digital work, aren't they? Mine is a ridiculously old model and I still love it.

so one shud not buy a regular Wacom ? i am going to buy one .so i thought for a beginner like me, wacom was best !

I think for any beginner, getting a standard wacom is the best plan! A cintiq is a gigantic investment so you need to be pretty committed before you buy such a thing

and have the funds!
