quick photoshop drawing. i was looking at some old national geographics and saw a photograph of a soviet apartment block in siberia which inspired me to draw this. i really wanted to get that sort of depressing middle of nowhere atmosphere across. will probably be scrappified later! but enjoy for now. (:

textures from - you guessed it - [link] .

I enjoy the drabness of it all...it makes real life look beautiful.

looks really nice i'm always a huge fan of muted color palettes.. i enjoy the way your lines make the building look frail. though i have to admit i was a bit disappointed... when i saw the title drab i thought maybe it would be a cute girl in a military style outfit... oh well.. so much for wishful thinking ^_^

Old National Geographics are the best... most art lessons were spent looking through those.
This is very nice. Simple... just the way it ought to be. You're a very versatile artist :D
