random oekaki doodle! sorry i haven't been updating lately, schoolwork has been piling up in a most unnatural fashion. it demands that i dedicate every free minute between now and dec. 23rd to various irritatingly useless assignments. as per usual with me, though, i only really get inspired to draw when i'm under pressure to do other things. so here is the first oekaki doodle i've actually enjoyed doing since the summer, probably. it's the first one with some spirit, anyways. yay for citrusses and freshness.

done in paintbbs (oekaki) with a tablet. dunno what oekaki is? refer to my good friend, wikipedia.

The difference between the two pieces is amazing. Wow have you improved! Of course, this was done with flat shading and the other was done in a digital painting style, but the anatomy in the newer piece is much improved and has a very realistic look to it.

How old were you when you did your oekaki work? I'm having trouble getting shi-painter. Does Shi-Painter have layers, like in Photoshop?

This one is very good.
I don't know why, but the pose looks very natural and the entire character looks really cute.
Congrats!
