Finally, I get to share this project with you guys! I've been making comic sequences for CBBC's Leonardo: the game since May and just finished last month. This is the promo image I made for it.
Leonardo is a Children's BBC television show, aired in the U.K, about the adventures of a teenage Leonardo da Vinci (warning: in no way historically accurate). The second season of the show is being released around now, together with an online game for kids on the CBBC website. It's a mix of a race game with storytelling sequences throughout, which is what I contributed. You can play it here - [link] .
It was great fun to work on this! I got to work in my own style and help out a little bit with the concept art as well. I did not write the storyline/script or come up with the characters though - these already existed! I'll post some of the comic sequences up sooner or later as well, but if you want to see them already you can play the game :]
Credits go to: Plug-in Media ( [link] ), who made and directed the game. It was so much fun to work with them! Kindle Entertainment ( [link] ), who produced the TV Show and also worked on the game. _____________________________________________

aw thanks! i'm a freelancer right now and have been since graduating. i do have a casual relationship with an agency who sometimes negotiates projects for me, but not always. i think promoting my work online during my school years really helped me to smoothly integrate into the freelance world, i get enough job offers to get by for the time being based on the exposure my work gets on the web!
This looks like fun. Why haven't I heard of it befo- oh. UK. Right. I live in America. (Why must Japan have a bigger influence over American culture than the UK?)
Hopefully, once i get my act together we'll cross paths and collab for a dream brand.
Great work!
It's seriously awesome looking~!
