~3ambitions asked me to update [link] in my current style, which struck me as a really good idea! i thought this would be especially interesting for those who have been following my work since 2006 or before :]

left one was draw in in oekaki ( [link] ), the right one was drawn in photoshop cs5 in about an hour. both with wacom tablets (the old one with a huge, a4 oversize intuos2, the new one with a small intuos4). for more info on my artwork please visit [link]

This is really cool, you can see the vast improvement. It was a good piece back in '06, but the anatomy now and overall attention to detail is far better. Texture, shading, and more precise anatomy is all there, whereas in the other it was not.

To be fair, I think you need to draw it in the primitive-little oekaki window you once used.
